Senior Design Draughtsperson

Mainstream Engineering is a dynamic consultancy offering maintenance engineering, project management, mechanical design, drafting and 3D modelling services to domestic and international clients.

Utilising the latest in 2D drafting and 3D modelling software and other technical tools, our aim is to provide first class services to meet the needs of the production and manufacturing industry. 

To assist with an abundance of project management, mechanical engineering and design work we are seeking an experienced, innovative Designer/Draughtsperson who takes pride in exceeding customer expectations.

Key skills for this role include:

  • A relevant engineering qualification preferably with a trade background.
  • SolidWorks  and AutoCAD knowledge and experience.
  • Experience with heavy industrial machinery.
  • Experienced and competent in the production of mechanical drawings.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office products.  
  • A high standard of written and oral English language skills.
  • Excellent communication.

Senior Mechanical Engineer

To assist with an abundance of project management, mechanical engineering and design work we are seeking an experienced, innovative Mechanical Engineer who takes pride in exceeding customer expectations.

Key skills for this role include:

  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification preferably with a trade background.
  • Senior level experience with heavy industrial machinery and ideally in the pulp and paper industry.
  • Proven contractor management experience.
  • Technically competent in pressure equipment and/or piping design.
  • Ideally will be experienced with FEA and/or CFD.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office products and ideally a capability to use MS Project.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • 10+ years experience
